All our Peameal Bacon is made from fresh USDA inspected pork. We utilize the inspected kitchen facilities at the local volunteer fire station (West Manatee Fire District) as our curing and packaging location and a portion of every sale is donated to support the Volunteer Fire Department!

Our Business Model

At CanAm we are intent on growing our business 'organically'. We started making Canadian Peameal Back Bacon for friends and family. They convinced us to market our great product locally. We began by getting a few restaurants to add it to their breakfast and lunch menus. The number of restaurants now serving our product in Florida is growing weekly. We then put the product into a number of 'farmer's markets'. Internet sales now allow us to offer this product nation wide at lower prices than you will be able to find any where else in the USA.

How do you know so much about Peameal Bacon?

I grew up in Toronto and was first introduced to Peameal Back Bacon by my grandfather in the 1950's. I am a dual national with both Canadian and US citizenship and have lived in Florida for the past 12 years. I have missed the great flavor of peameal bacon and during a trip to Canada I hooked up with one of the largest producers of peameal back bacon in the country.
